Eibach Springs on my GTS.

I believe Techart springs are made by Eibach. Something else for you to consider if you're looking for a nice stance would be spacers - no point in dropping the height if the wheels are still tucked under the arches. 12 or 15mm at the rear and 5 or 7mm at the front is generally the norm.

Off topic I know, but is that a stock GTS front bumper and splitter? Looks different, could just be my eyes though. Looks fantastic overall and very tasty mods finish it off superbly. :thumb:

Thanks. It is the stock bumper but I changed the GTS front lip for the Porsche Aero splitter when I fitted the ducktail to complement the aerodynamics - in theory any change in aero at one end must be matched at the other end, although I'm not sure I'm really pushing the envelope en route to the next cars and coffee meet.

The 997 GTS is still one of the best 911s ever made. Looks fab with the GT3 wheels on this one!

Interesting, cheers buddy. It looks different to the other aero splitters I've seen, although they could be GT3/aero or turbo ones. Perhaps it's just the angle of the photo.

My 4S is also on H&R springs with spacers to suit :thumb:

I'm running the H+Rs with 12mm spacers all round, a realignment (fast road, not factory settings) and - of course - the TPC Racing DSC box. When the time comes, I'll get the B16s, as I want to keep PASM. If I didn't have PASM, I'd run the à–hlins, as I love these on my other car. The adjustability is really helpful.

Looks good with 12mm on the front, I thought they might take the wheels outside the arch, but evidently not. I guess this will also prevent an additional mild increase in understeer that the 15mm R / 7mm front would as you're retaining the original front to back ratio effectively.

OZ wheels?

Yep, I've got matt graphite OZ Racing Ultraleggeras, with 12mm TPC spacers, a Motorsport stud conversion and a bit of added negative camber at the front which brings the top of the rims inboard. I'm really happy with the set up, it's really neutral and - like my latest instructor said - it corners on rails.

In the winter, I run without the front spacers in an attempt to add back a little understeer, and reduce stone chips from the front tyres. It looks a bit cack but I prefer to stay on the road.

Amen to that....I'm definitely missing a Ducktail in my life I think all 997's should have them they look stunning.

Some fine looking machines agreed.

Ordered some spacers (15mm rear and 7mm front) for fitting when it's back from its exhaust mods. -20mm Techart or -25mm H&R looks about perfect for what I am after.

Also liking the dark wheels on a few of these so maybe that should go on the to do list as well...

Big thanks to all who have posted :thumb:
