Painting washer jet covers

Has anyone painted their washer jet covers? To me the chrome jars a bit, and I was thinking of painting them black or body colour (agate grey 991.1). Has anyone else done this?
 
Yes Porsche Reading did mine as part of full resto. Think it was £300 plus vat extra.

I tried doing them in matte black Plastidip. It looked great until i jetwashed that car!!
