993 door handle removal

Hi guys,

I need to replace the rubber gaskets that fit between the door handle and the outer door skin as they have perished and split. Does anyone have a step by step DIY guide to this or know where I might find one.

I'm wondering if I need to take the inner door card off etc etc, had a look round on p-car but couldn't see anything that related to the door handles only the door card removal.

Looked at all tech manuals.. I think you'd find the procedure in the 964 Maint manual.



But the PET (Porsche parts catalog on CD) Euros 6 at your local stealer... shows an exploded view on page 278 of the body section.



Good luck...I would think you'll have to take the door apart. :-(
