What's your daily?

.......and my daily: 996

More and more by the year. I just can't get enough of it, it's infectious.

Saturday morning: 3k miles to St Tropez and back - can't wait!!!!!!

Another one for Mini!

My daily has been a R56 John Cooper Works for the last three years. It's a lot of fun. Put new Pilot Sport 4's on it last year and they have made it even better in all conditions.

It's got a very rare leather and alcantara interior trim so feels really special inside too. I really can't find anything else I like to replace it so I have just paid off the ballon, it's only done 19000 and has another 2 years free servicing so a no brainer really.

^^^ :thumb:

I've just done an online VIN check on mine to confirm the extras on it. Spans to 2 pages  Plus I've got the Dynamic Damper Control fitted to protect my fillings

Ideally it should have had the anthracite headlining to blend with the alcantara dash if i get it done and the led strip lighting in the doors is not spec'd

Alex, a completely honest answer? I would rather have the 986 than my turbo if value wasn't an issue and I could only have one.

In fact I've driven almost every modern porsche varient of each model (1998 onwards) in some guise or another including the 997 GT3RS & GT2RS.

I drove a brand new 991.2 a month or two ago and was totally unimpressed. I got straight in the boxster and thought 'wow, how can this old thing be so much better than that'.

Truthfully, I would take a 986S over any non GT porsche produced from 1998 onwards.

If value wasn't included and we were including GT cars I would have the 997.2 GT3RS as that's the best car I've ever driven, but for everything else there's the good old leggy boxster :thumb:

As my C4S is in storage until at least next summer due to work commitments and some other cr@p I'm very envious of those who have their pride and joy and can use it daily.

My daily is a Ford C-Max 2.0 tdci in a lovely 5hitty grey colour. It has 187,000 miles on the clock and absolutely refuses to die but it does leave quite a smoke screen behind it now when revved hard. It's our family work horse and dog car. It's worth ***** all and we intend to drive it till it dies.

Mercedes G Class- G350.

Big beast of a car but always makes me smile and has so much character and quirkiness which I love. Probably the most special daily driver I have owned, hopefully a keeper.

Pimped or not :dont know:

haha no, not pimped. 100% standard.

I saw a G63 AMG yesterday in a factory orange colour- in a way pointless to have that power in a car this size, but stunning and certainly turns heads, in a good way.

For some reason the G Class is universally loved, or that has been my experience so far at least.

This has been my daily for the last 14 years, (well, March to October) with the train taking the strain during the winter. It's 1 of just 50 RS 50th Anniversary VFRs. Basically standard, save for the Ohlins suspension and Corbin seat.
It's a year younger than the 911 but with 20k less miles on it. Sadly more commuting miles than pleasure these days.
