Thoughts on this car please

At the limit but going down hill can cause over rev in a PDk where the momentum takes it above where the engine would usually stop at the limiter I believe. It is very rare.

I can't understand how this can happen. If you put the box into Manual mode and go down a hill in say 3rd and try and change down the box just won't let you, I've tried it and it just wouldn't change down into a lower gear.
In Auto mode it definitely won't.
I understand what your thinking but it applies mainly to manuals where you don't have an ECU just a seat, stick, interface!

Mine allows this type of change down, in both modes... I wish it didn't!!!

Maybe it was a change made on the Gen2 models? :dont know:

Enjoy the ride! :thumb:

Congrats. You won't regret! My recommendation is to put lots of miles on it, and enjoy it. Also take it to a track to really appreciate how good a car it is.

Oh, so you went for THAT one then? Hmm, interesting.

Thanks for the comments, I'm so chuffed that I've finally got myself a 911 and not any 911 a GTS!! Roll on collection day.

Pzero- yes that's the one.😂

Congrats. Enjoy it & have fun.

Congrats Sweet. Lovely car :thumb: . Enjoy!

I've had a great quote from LV for the Insurance and a quote of £380 for a 4 year gap policy, back to invoice. So will go with that I think.

Sounds very reasonable, I am with LV also.

Unless you have any track plans, then might be worth looking at specialist :dont know:
