I have them in my 997 C4S and can recommend. Mind you, I upgrade the ARB's on most cars. Tightens things up, improved turn in, less roll, etc. All round good bang for buck upgrade. I'd have the geo properly set up by someone like Centre Gravity though, they can use the ARB adjustability to further dial it in how you like. From memory these are thicker than the GT3/GT2 bars and hollow.
 
Did you get a answer to this? I also see Eibach hollow ARB's for the 997 turbo for a good price....which should surely fit on a 996 Turbo?

I have a sneaky suspicion that there was an error on the design911 link.
Obviously, there is a lot of 997 to 996 crossover but 'caveat emptor'!

I've subsequently found a decent price on H&R elsewhere online.
