I always seem to be struggling with the most simplest jobs. Trying to change out my side skirt trims and all of my 21 year old tapping screws by the wheel arch liners front and back are rusted with malformed torx heads.

One of the screw heads snapped off so easily, they all seem soft. They all seem to be held on by speed nuts nut I'm not sure. I cannot get these out at all. The ones on the underside of the car are fine.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I've tried easy outs and they just spin in the torx head.
