I was watching TGE TV's video on his C4S and he apparently had 991 lower control arms fitted to the car, which makes me wonder, does anyone have any experience with this? The 991 arms are available from OE manufacturers like TRW and Lemfà¶rder, whilst the 996 arms seem like the best aftermarket option is Meyle, whom I have not had good dealings with in the past.

99634105317 = 996 lower control arm
99734105304 = 997 lower control arm, the center bush seems different, so I'll likely need to change my tuning forks at the same time?
99134105303 = 991 rear lower control arm, looks 100% the same as the 997 part in pictures
99134134102 = 991 front conrol arm. General dimensions look similar, but the shape is totally different

I read that too... is there any advantage other than the manufacturer?

I've used Meyle parts recently (lower arms and diagonal arms), they all fitted fine and set up well when the geometry was done.

I recall there was a bad batch in the past but hopefully all gone now.

I've had Meyle coffin arms on my 997 since June with no problems. As good as OE to my untrained senses.
