Afternoon all,
hoping somebody can offer some advice/words of wisdom. I recently bought my 911 3.2 (1986 model year). It has had a full engine rebuild by a Porsche specialist. I have done about 1500-1800 miles in it since I bought it. However, recently it has developed a minor fault in that when I start the car and leave it to idle it will cut out after about a minute. Sometimes it will restart no problem. Other times it takes several attempts to fire up. This behaviour has only recently started to exhibit itself. I am assuming it is some sort of fuel starvation issue. The fuel and air filters are all new, I can hear the fuel pump working and there is plenty of fuel in the car. The only other reason I could think this was happening was perhaps some sort of engine management issue, but don't know a great deal about that side of the car yet. As I say any help will be gratefully accepted.
Cheers
