Yeah sold pretty quickly too - he has another coming in soon. I've not had a Porsche before and 996 seems the way to scratch the itch - my budget could stretch to C4S but I've seen 3.4s at £12-£15k if I could get one with good history then I'd be happy with that
Another mix combo. Ive just bought some 2nd hand Mk2 side skirts so just need to decide on front bumper. Will keep it all reversible so easy to put back to stock.
Wheels are kind of sold/swapped + cash for something very similar. Just trying to finalise at the moment.
I reckon you'll end up with OEM Mk2 side skirts and aftermarket "Mk2 style" front bumper....
The crowning glory of the MK1 was the ("swans neck") GT3 rear wing - the front, side and rear spats were just a little too "blobby" (although a full kit altogether does look great on certain cars)...... personally wish they'd kept the original rear wing when they sharpened the rest up(!) With your rear deck already sorted, I don't think any of the remaining Mk1 aero parts will win you over
Also where the 996 shines - it's basically grown up's Technik lego!
I have s set of 996RS tip on mine and they've never quite looked right with a mk1 bumper. I've got a pair of big ovals to fit, so you're welcome to the RS ones if you choose to go down the mk2 bumper route.
