You can buy titanium bolts off ebay for £56. Infact you're much better off fitting allen head screws for access.

Hi All,

The opening discussion hints that all 996 and 997 are alike, and nowhere in this entire thread does it say that the stud spec (M8 X 45mm. 15mm Thread on one end, 10mm shank and 20mm thread on the other end) discussed in this thread will not work for a 997 gen 2.

Found out the hard way

996 and 997.1 => M8 x 28mm
997.2 => M8 x 21mm
