Thinking of a colour change ..ideas/advice welcome

 Great pics....I'm off to the garage to drool and cheer myself up on a rainy weekend....

So thanks for all the help ..a little update, yet to choose exact shade but it will be blue. Gearing more towards Mexico than Riviera personally.

Superb. We can never have enough threads covering these two colours. Gives an excuse for one of the best pics on here. Mexico and riv

Edit: added the link to that thread.

And here's one Precision completed for a customer. That's the best combo for me. https://www.precisionporsche.co.uk/news/2015/10/20/blog-test-1

I've thought about doing this soooo many times. Please keep a thread going when you start :thumb:

That riviera car looks very familiar - personally my favourite 993 colour. Period. But then I'm a tad biased :)

If it was me, I'd definitely go for something different and stand-out in a classy way.

Ch3tman's blood orange 993 is unique and an amazing looking colour. Right up there as one of my favourites. :thumb:

That Orange looks amazing if you want a stand-out colour, otherwise, the dark forest metallic greens look good on a 993 in my view. And the latest Brewster Green is a great colour!

Unless you're taking every single nut and bolt off the car, dipping it and removing any rust, don't paint it. Just don't.
Wrap it.
Half ar53d repaints knock big bucks off cars, and if your not going to glass out every nut but washer screw and clip off the car, it, then don't. Just don't. No one will want to buy it.
Too got at. or, was it a write off ? Or, I don't like non-original. You cut your buyer size down. Plus its silver. The German racing colour.
Wrap it. Far simpler.
Wrap it in that nice grey, like the car above the crayon one.
Stick some Fuchs on it. Job done. The door shuts will not look so out of place, because its almost silver
Do your research first, and pick a quality firm, and wrap it.
If you not going to wrap it, or paint it, have a look at putting some decals on it, and matching those to wheel colour. Carrera script in maritime, with maritime wheels. Maybe even Maritime Fuch.
Give it some thought.

mmm depends on if you are referring the old Olive green or the new one as it has sort of morphed from browny green (stuffed olive guise) to the greener healthier fresh olive color ,.. look it up and itl make sense :D

old : https://www.excellence-mag.com/issues/202/articles/olive-tart

new : https://www.carscoops.com/2020/05/o...ks-like-it-belongs-in-a-martini/#lg=1&slide=0

Neither of those, it's more green than that. Never been able to post pics so can't show you what I mean
