Specialist Cars of Malton Ltd Administration £10m Vanished #2024 update

I'm out of touch with this one as its been a while  ......but looks as if the Adminsitrators got enough money in from the sale of assets to continue their fees ....I mean investigations.......in the context of this case I think that is a good thing as there would likely not be enough funds to distribute to make any meaningful difference to creditors and I would think they would prefer the money better spent at this stage in laying the ground works for potential criminal proceedings at a later date ....slowly slowly catchy monkey :?:

meanwhile for those wanting to a taster of wtf legal case, I came across this one that somehow involves Hawkins and a Porsche and he's just the supporting cast, with Mr Howarth having a right ding dong with Mr Cole

Seems that 58 creditors have basically given up. There's not much chance of recovery, but there might be some assets (houses and such) still out there somewhere.

what a surprise, this may end up just being a feeding trough for the administrators. I've dealt with too many over the years who 100% of the time miraculously find a way to line their pockets fully from any carcus that is left

I hope behind the scenes there is some benefit, whilst not financial, to the creditors to support any civil / criminal case there maybe

The directors should be prosecuted to be trading with near that level of debt and insolvency, unlikely this happened overnight

You'd think that was not too hard to prove with a ponzi scheme of SOR sales.......
