I will have another 3.2 Carrera, 964 and 993 for sure if I ever get more garage space. They need to be kept in doors unfortunately but truly unique driving experience. 993 in particular was a rocket.

Both are pre war Morris Minor 😁
The drophead is a 1934 sidevalve
And the fabric saloon is a 1929 with an overhead cam engine which was a development of a v8 aero engine

I took my girlfriend for lunch yesterday.
Her face was a picture when I turned up at her house in my 1923 Humber

I really fancy an S63. In my view it's one of the best cars MB made in recent times, can't understand why more people don't know about them.

Probably not a great plan though as a daily driver @ £1.70 a litre so I'm sticking with my CLS 350 shooting brake!

Fascinating about that engine... I love vintage cars. Proper class! I'm reading Tim Birkin 'Full Throttle' at the moment, about racing Bentleys at Le Mans etc.

Well this thread has made me feel pretty inadequate... Going to have to work harder!

Hats off to you gents, some pretty spectacular cars on this thread, some unicorn cars in here, very impressive!

Iv got a humble range, will try and dig out some photos:

2007 997.1 Carrera S Cabriolet - Weekend toy
2007 Civic Type R FN2 - Daily to ferry the kids to school
2019 Tesla Model 3 Performance - Wife's car

We have a Audi Etron GT on order and thats supposed to arrive in 6 months or so...
