Returning my GT3 back to how it should be

Wheels are off and going to be chemically stripped and powder coated.

New Centre caps ready to fit.

I thought the white numbering on the gear knob was faded but it was grime  and has cleaned up nicely. Not sure whether to replace with an all Alcantara one.

Fire extinguisher fitted.

Going to clean up the shock threads and calipers while the car is on stands.

The springs were corroded so that will be a winter job, shocks off and serviced and new springs.

You are really going to town there lee.

Is this a keeper for a while. Had mine 9 years and i cant part with it. lol

The springs can get a bit seized. Chris from Centre Gravity when he was adjusting the ride height had to put some heat on them to free up the locking clamps.

Thanks Darren.

The ride heights and geo will be set in the coming weeks so I will soak the shock threads in penetrating fluid so it all moves nicely.

Also bought some new wheel bolts from an OPC, £128 with Porsche Club discount.

5mm spacers for the front should turn up this week.

Im looking forward to the geo more than any of the other mods.

Hi Lee
