This required replacement of the plastic sump which has the gasket built in.
The new sump pan was OE Porsche which comprised the pan with a built-in filter and seal, 13 new fixing screws and new drain plugl. The complete kit also included 6 litres of PDK clutch fluid and 4 litres of 75W90 gear oil.
The total cost was £222.23 for the sump pan, £59.40 for the gear oil and £92.16 for the PDK clutch fluid, all plus VAT. Labour was 1.7 hours on top.
That's pretty reasonable I guess for the sump pan ...cheaper than D911 at least. I'm pricing it up now and the clutch oil will cost £88 and 5ltrs of Millers 75W90 NT+ is £62 which should leave me enough to do either the diff or AWD controller.
1.7hrs labour sounds very reasonable too. Can I ask where you went?
