Nearly new 600 miler 996.2 C4S spotted for sale

Nobody has bought this yet, wrong time of year perhaps:

Almost new 996.2 C4S

Amazingly it was built several years before white came back into fashion around 2007.

The mileage is only 600 or so. One owner. It must have sat in storage for it's entire life.

Attractive? At nearly 80k you're not that far of a brand new 992 in price.

I'm pretty sure that the White Collection were all lhd cars. Also, there doesn't seem to be a 996 listed in the sold lots.

At that money I doubt this car will ever be driven so I can't see it matters whether it's a Tip' or a Manual.

This is the irony of such a vehicle.

The value is tied into the tiny mileage of about 30 miles per year.

Putting the car into semi-serious use (2-5k miles per year) would drastically affect the value.

I love the comment about the transmission being immaterial on a car you don't actually drive.

If only non-runners fetched as much!!

This is really, really sad - basically no one has ever driven this car and most probably no one ever will, as it's value is strictly in it's low mileage alone.

And to be honest I'm never excited for ads like this - imagine the amount of service required, after all those years of basically sitting still if you actually wanted to drive this thing.
Cars are meant to be driven, not collected.
