Just saw this article regarding Insurance hikes for cars with 'modifications'. I know a friend of mine had his Insurance cancelled on a VW transporter (his work van) when he told the Insurance company he'd had the van lowered.
I know a lot of people will be shouting that this and that doesn't make any difference but the kicker will be that in the event of an accident and a claim the Insurance company will inspect the vehicle and if all is not as it should be, ie standard, then they will cancel your Insurance.
Numbers 3 4 5 and 10 are interesting.
