CD Changer - PCM problems

My CD Changer is no longer available and my radio reception was poor

Tried a replacement changer - still the same problems
Tried a replacement PCM - still the same problems
Removed Bose AMP cleaned with alcohol and compressed air - Radio now fine
Replaced Battery still CD Changer un available

Would the Amp being faulty stop the cd player from being available?
When I insert the cartridge the changer scrolls through the cds as normal but the PCM says Changer not available
The most loop seems fine

I guess it must be the amp, its all I haven't changed :?: :dont know:
