Hi all,

Just a weird one - my Bose sub appears to have died.

It was working fine, so assume it's a "new thing". Would it be the AMP or could it be the head unit? I have a cheapo Android head unit, with the fibre decoder, so could the decoder / head unit not send the bass signal?

Or pretty much the amp? The amp is not cheap to replace so would be good to know before swapping parts.

Thanks!

Yep, everything else works fine. The fronts, the tweeters, and the rear speakers all work.

Just the rear parcel shelf sub and therefore it sounds very tinny.

However, it was working up until recently... Can't really recall any event when I noticed it had died... But if the amp is an all or nothing failure, or can just fail in part would be great to know!
