I have a pair of Alcon front 2 piece brake discs with brand new discs and hardware fitted that are surplus to requirements. The discs have been fitted to the car and done about 200 miles, car is getting sold, so these have been removed and standard discs fitted back on. This will include the longer bolts and spacers needed to fit these on a car with 350mm standard brakes.

They are direct fit for 996.1 & .2 GT3 fitted with the 6 piston calipers. They will also fit 996 Turbo, but you will need to have the 6 piston brakes fitted.

New kits for this conversion are typically £1300 +, im looking for £800.

I have a set of Carbotech XP8 pads for 6 piston caliper fitment that have been fitted for the same 200miles as the discs. These are an excellent fast road and trackday pad. I run these in all my cars.

Im looking for £200 for these.

Happy to ship either item at cost.

Anyone know if the pads can be used on a 997.1 GT3, that’s been converted from PCCB to steels? (I’m sure I read this would make the front disc 380mm?)

Correct Daniel, 997.1 PCCBs are 380mm. The pads are a different shape; on RS29s they are 8004 whereas the 996 uses 2707.

Fountain of knowledge as normal Nick. :worship:

Would you know what pads can be used on a PCCB to steel conversion?

I've used Pagid RS29 for years. I have a 380mm conversion on my 996 too, so I'd say these:

A winter project for the car. Are there any less aggressive pads available?

If you’re at fairmile this month might have to bend you ear all-things GT3

Ive used Carbotech XP8's for years on fast road and out and out road car.

They last ages, have great performance and dont have the squeal of RS29's. They are also half the cost.

I now run the XP10's on my track car and XP8's on my GT3.
