Hello Chaps,

http://911uk.com/ads_item.php?id=2106

I am exptecting a 2nd child in March and I have just not the cash to keep my beloved turbo, forgive the advert style below, its copy straight from eBay so its not to sound condesending on purpose to the people in the know on here! :)

Porsche 911 turbo - the best sports car in the world?

Hello, and welcome to my listing. I am selling my beloved manual 996 turbo

Why? Well we are expecting out 2nd child in March and 2 bedrooms are not big enough so the 911 has to go to buy a bigger house

I have a good 6 months to sell the car so I am not in a desperate rush to sell

So before you read through the advert I am NOT open to silly offers!

I will be as helpfull as I can regarding questions

The car

1st registerd in England in 2002, was originally supplied by Belfast OPC in 2001 and spent 6 months in Ireland

As you have probably noticed the car is in Carerra white, and the experts out there will know that Porsche never offered the 2002 turbo in white

Unlike many 911's this car has NOT BEEN WRAPPED!

It has had a full bare metal respray costing just shy of £10,000 18 months ago

Unfortunately this was done as someone decided to vandalise the car by means of keying every panel and slashing tyres and dinting body panels - due to level of labour and work required the Insurance company decided to catergorise the car onto a CAT D

The owner at the time (not me) decided to have the car bare metalled and resprayed in Carerra white and the roof done in gloss black

A shame the car is cat d, BUT the positives that has come out of this is that the car now looks like it left the factory with not a mark or stone chip in sight and

because it was not involved in an accident, there was no suspension damage or chassis damage to fix.

The respray is 100%, the best I have ever seen on a car - the pictures do not do it justice

I had the car inspected before I bought it and was confirmed to me that there was no sign of any other repaired damage to the car backing up the storey of the previous owner.

The spec

Metropole leather interior - excellent condition all around

Alcantara roof lining - unmarked

Climate control - ICE cold air conditioning

Sunroof

Rear wiper (yes this was an extra!)

Xenon headlights

Gloss black OEM turbo alloys - very slight marks on a couple of wheels

Pirelli P-Zeros all round - 4mm/5mm tread all around

Red calipers

7" LCD touch screen (DVD, CD, USB, TV etc)

Electric memory seats

Gloss black 'targa' style roof

The car comes with the full leather bound book pack with all manuals

History and Maintenance

The 2 reasons I bought the car were: The colour scheme and the mileage

I searched for months for the right car and when this one came up with just 36,000 on it I had to buy it

The car is backed up with a comprehensive service history

There are 7 stamps in all (5 OPC Chester and Wilmslow) and 2 from a well respected specialist in the North West

The last one was a 36k service in January 2010, the next service is due on 48k or a yearly one in January 2011

As part of the inspection I had done before I bought the car i had a Porsche specialist download the running time from the DME

This showed the mileage to be in keeping with the hours the car has run

The car had a new clutch on 24,000 miles 2 years ago

During the time I have had it I have had the following work done:

Front brake disks

Both ball joints

ALL bushes replaced with upgraded versions as the OEM Porsche ones are very poor

I have had every standard hose replaced with a set of Forge silicone ones

I have replaced both the standard dump valves replaced with Forge stainless steel re-circ versions

Both the above are well know weak areas of Porsche engineering and Forge have a great reputation for there DV's and Hoses

There is also a BMC panel air filter fitted

Otherwise the car is in standard trim, the exhaust and engine management are left standard thus 420bhp

The car is very rewarding to drive, there are no known faults and there are no warning lights on the dash board, everything works inc rear spoiler

The number plate is mine and this will be transferred upon sale of the car at the Trafford DVLA centre

Any tests drive that you wish to conduct will need to be supported by an Insurance certificate showing that you are insured to drive

Better still, if you are interested in buying then you can always arrange 1 days car Insurance from

www.dayinsure.com

www.temporarycarinsurance.org.uk

www.tempcover.com

Please no dreamers or timewasters, I have no time for this and not in a rush to sell

This is a private sale not trade

Payment will be required by bank transfer or cash only, no cheques or bankers draft

Just to reiterate.....

There is not one stone chip, scuff or car parking dint ANYWHERE on the car - the paint work is as BRAND NEW, I garage the car every night

There is NO FINANCE on the car

The car is in Woodley, Stockport

Any questions I will be more than happy to answer and enjoy the pictures below.......

Hi Rich996 - congrats on the impending arrival, comiserations on letting such a great car go! Still, it's a great looking car, very detailed & open discription and one that hopefully won't hang around for long. Good luck in the house - hunt; it's still a buyer's market out there....

For between £115 and £265 you MAY be able to get the car un-CAT D'd, if that makes sense.

Have a look here,

Or perhaps I should buy it before you do, :?:

Keep the ad updated in the cars for sale section, I'll be watching........
