997.1 PCM failure....help needed pls

Hi,

My PCM screen suddenly stopped working. It turns on and stays on the Porsche logo screen. Does not move off this screen. A static noise plays through the speakers and then it switches itself off. Won't do anything else

I tried the reset 1,4,8 and also unplugging battery. No use.....

Any help or suggestions?

I have had similar issues caused by the DVD unit overheating when lots of stuff packed in the frunk.

Check that it is reading the disc ok and operating correctly.
