Your top 993 mods or tweaks?

Porsche knew what they were doing when they made these cars, the only mod required was an up to date Thatcham 1 security system.

For me it has to be

1. HIDs - best mod by a long way for me

2. VDO head unit looks oem, matches other VDO dials, but modern electronics inc USB socket

3. Recaro Sport topline seats


To each his own, agree apart from updated headlights, originals really pathetic for a 993 type car, Porsche basically got the design / reliability right

Hi

If you want to see how the solid steering arms feel then the easiest way is to drive a well sorted 964.

For me personally Porsche went too far on insulating the 993 from the road, although I think the rear suspension changes are a massive positive over the 964 set up.
