Hi All,

Tried to adjust my drivers side mirror today and it will only go in the 9 / 3 O'clock direction on the switch. Doesn't seem to work in the 12 / 6 O'clock. It's the same for both mirrors so think it might be the switch. Anybody taken one apart and cleaned it ? If so could you please pass on the knowledge?

Thanks for any input.

ATB :)

Mine did the same. Removed it and steeped it in WD40 overnight - longer if you can - and it's been fine ever since.

I try it regularly as lack of use is not good as the internal terminals tarnish and make poor contact.

...and occasionally operate the buttons in all directions to work the cleaner around the contacts before continuing with the soaking.

Same with mine on the mirror and seat switches; WD40 cured all ills.
