I am thinking of selling my cherished 996 X50 manual, coupe in Seal Grey, body work and wheels have been ceramically coated no swirl marks or scratches or curbing on the wheels.

£16,000 spent - future proof car

I bought it 5 years ago from RPM Technik, it has full Porsche dealer and specialist service history and I have had the following work done during my ownership, noting that I have covered only 1,200 dry/sunny miles.

- New rads and condensers
- Ceramically Coated Body and Wheels
- 9 excellence switchable sports exhaust
- New Sachs performance clutch
- Forge Diverter valves
- Guards Red front and rear seat belts
- Bespoke front grill mesh
- New Michelin Sport Cup 2 front tyres (because they look gorgeous with matt
lettering)
- New Bridgestones 295/30/18 on the rear
- RSS Engine mounts
- 997 transmission mount
- GT3 gearbox mechanism with metal
- Carbon handbrake OEM
- Carbon Gear Knob
- Brand new windscreen (as I wanted the vision to be perfect)
- Bespoke mesh grills behind slats to protect condensors & rads (by 9e)
- Complete Coolant Change by Dove House

Over £16,000 spent (excluding servicing) in 5 years and ONLY 1,300 covered in that time. The car kept in a garage and never driven in the rain. The mileage is 75,907.

Its last 4 services over 1,200 miles with Porsche specialists, under 300 miles between services.

OCD
When I bought it removed all the wheel liners, treated any rust (wasn't much) by removing, treating with Dinitrol, painting, and Dinitrol wax. Some of the wheel liners became damaged as the screws were rusted, so I replaced the wheel liners with new nuts and screws. All from Porsche dealer. A great winter project.

It's not seen a drop of rain or salt on the roads since my ownrrship in 4/5 years

The car is a complete garage queen, never abused, driven in the rain or even when there is salt on the road. It hibernates in my garage on a trickle charger between September and April.

Turbo vs X50
Only 12% of 996 turbos were X50's, which had 450 bhp instead of the 420bhp, GT2 ECU, GT2 Gearbox and GT2 intercoolers. Basically a Turbo S, but without the very expensive ceramic brakes. I have been told that these more more sought/rarer than the Turbo S. I am NOT desperate to sell and I would like to sell to someone who appreciates Porsches.

I feel it is an investment grade car, values will be increasing now that the UKs moving again.

Strictly NO timewasters, noting that the car won't be driven if there is a hint of rain on the road and you won't driving unless all the cash is in my account.

£46,000 Priced to Sell.

Thanks for looking. No Part Ex I'm afraid.

Be 35k easy ... 🧐

Sounds about right... however you'll need to add another £10k to that!

It's £44,500 on PH advert
