PM problems

Hi,
I've received a PM but can't open it. It says 'Could not update private message read status for user'.

Any ideas please?

I don't know if there are any technical issues that could also cause this but:

I have identified through the odd times that I've encountered it that it can happen is when the recipient is in the process of opening it and the sender has it open themselves - possibly to review or update it.

i.e If you're having a pm conversation and both of you try to open the same pm at the same time.

Sadly, I don't think there's any coming out of it. If it's locked in this way it stays locked and the sender has to type it again.
