PCCM single Din with Apple CarPlay for

914 (1970-1976),
911 F (1965-1973),
911 G (1974-1989),
964 (1989-1994),
993 (1994-1998),
959 (1987-1988),
924 (1976-1988),
944 (1982-1991),
968 (1992-1995),
928 (1978-1991)

Or PCCM plus for double DIN with CarPlay and Android Auto for

986 (1997-2002)
996 (1998-2005)

I believe they are around £1,500 and are supposed to be plug and play :thumb:

Had a double DIN Pioneer SPH DA 230 DAB fitted to my 159 for £600 a few months ago. £1500 for a single din on my 993 sounds like a complete rip off to me. £900 difference? Porsche having a laugh imo

But then nearly £600 for a Targa door rubber seal is even worse. Seems owning a Porsche is a licence to be stitched up by Porsche main dealers

Looks good but some of the small print is a bit odd.

" The map material is not included in the scope of delivery for the PCCM and PCCM Plus." then another extra ?

then again that's where Google Maps comes in from your phone

:hand: That sort of tech does not belong in a 993, or anything earlier. The best sound is the engine - well in a 964 anyway

One for deep pocketed sandal wearing beards...

Single DIN has got to be period Blaupunkt or new release Blaupunkt every time.

Nah, period Becker every time :bandit:

...my 996 has Bose and Most Fibre Optic with the single din CDR23 CD player with a frunk mounted CD changer...

I wanted Bluetooth but didn't want to spoil the interior aesthetic thus installed a Mr.12Volt BT Adapter...this replaced the CDC and is a relatively easy installation...the unit is hidden in the frunk behind the CDC trim...

The Mic runs through the bulkhead and I have inserted into a blanking trim plate on the drivers side ...looks factory...

So for £150ish quid I have BT and have kept the CDR23 ...

If I wanted to I could have run aux and USB cables from the adapter into the cabin but I am happy with bluetooth and the CDR23's CD player...I

It's a really good option for those whom are like minded ?

Has anyone been able to get hold one the single DIN sized unit yet?
I have been told they are still on back order.
