Mirror heaters broken?

First time posting on here but long-time lurker! I'm hoping that somebody could help me out!

The heated mirrors on my 997 don't work, but the rear screen heater works perfectly fine. I guess the fuse is ok as the rear screen works, but I am not sure where to start with diagnostics.

Yes, the car does have heated mirrors from factory.

Pull them off and check for power. Also check mirror glass connections for continuity.

Yes - heated rear window switch activates them. Same on a cab too.

Ah, that makes total sense! Thanks for clarifying. I expected there was something I was missing with the electric mirrors control. Thanks for that.
