Dear All,
I went to change the High-beam bulbs as they were quite yellow compared to Dipped-beam and I discovered what appears to be an aftermarket Litronic kit.
When I put the light back in the Dip beam wasn't working. upon investigation, the black wire, which a previous owner had stuck in with tape, had come out. Despite super gluing it back in, the dip beam is still not working (I suspect I may have damaged the bulb in the process).
However, here is the problem. The connection to the bulb is not detachable. The wires from the bulb go straight to a connector! This means it requires a very specific bulb that has the connector attached.
Has anyone come across this setup before, does anyone have a work-around or do I need to source a new kit or something?
I have included some photos so you can see what I am talking about.
Any help gratefully received.
Cheers
Austin
