Front Diff Bearing Broken..

So the list gets longer and longer...

... todays issue is a broken front diff bearing.

An actual ball has come out but extremely luckily there is no damage done.

So need new bearings and seals etc but not an £8 - £10 k diff.

This car is having a very expensive March
 
Was there crunching noises prior to it failing or what issues did you have ?
 
I munched the (sun) gears up in my rear diff and peppered the gearbox with all the teeth off them. Ended up with new gears, new bearings and new diff seals.
 
No issues, no noise, no nothing...

My mechanic noticed some play in the front diff when checking it after replacing the leaking rear seals .
