Brake pipe replacement question

I'm replacing brake hardliners at the front of the car "whilst I'm there". The OEM Porsche lines come with plastic plugs/covers on the pipe ends that when you remove them leave a plastic circular disc on the end fitting that kind of resembles a washer - should these be left in place or also removed? Any help much appreciated.

Plastic cover held in hand in pic below and you can just see the plastic disc still on the line.
