I want to exchange the battery on my 2014 991, will I have to reset the radio with a code?

no it won't

I'm pretty sure it will need to be coded though. I had my GT3 battery changed at the OPC after a total failure. £550 for the privilege.

this raises a good point to consider

if your car is fine and just needs a new like for like battery it will be ok
if your battery has failed causing systems to reset and the car to go into emergency mode, then it will need more of a thorough reset
