I have about £20,000 to buy a 997. Only looking for a manual and a coupe. Would ideally like a 997.2 but for the budget I have a 997.1 is probably more realistic. I would prefer a car that has been inspected for bore score and had a clean report.

Welcome to 911uk.

At that price point you'll be looking at an early Gen1 with high mileage so hopefully any issues other than bore scoring won't be a consideration. A clean bore score report is crucial.

Hi Looking to sell my 2004 997 3.8 S manual in Feb. 108k miles with engine rebuild at 78k miles. Clean bore score 2 years ago with rear coolant pipes and clutch/flywheel changed and switchable exhaust fitted. Brand new P Zeros all round. Artic Silver with blue interior. Great spec with Chrono, sport seats and upgrade radio with carplay. Looks stunning. Let me know if you are interested.
