Well what a find !! I've been debating going to Precision or Braunton for the chassis rail work and some minor paint on the 993, then last night through the power of a 'retweet' on Twitter came across this alladins cave below !!

Andy showed me around the unit and lifted the covers off all the cars in the shop, some complete some not so. The green car is a LWB 912 with the 4 cylinder 356 engine having a full resto and now being put back together. Amazing...

I lost two hours of my morning today and ended up buying a T-shirt from their new online 'Urban Outlaw' collection as seen below (Magnus asked Andy if he would stock his brand)..no affiliation just liked the design and thought it would be an early Christmas present to myself, and he gave me a UO Leather Keyfob.

The pictures only show a fraction of the kit, but I came away impressed by the passion the owner Andy clearly has for all things Pork...

Just waiting for a quote for my work and then we'll see, brilliant that it's only 12 miles away from me

I'm confused. What is it - a garage? What's the web address pls.

No indeed, that might be a step to far !! I'll mention it though, to complete the look... :?:

Looks like an interesting place! They appear to specialise in older cars - so you can dazzle them with the modern wonders and advanced wizardry that Porsche had achieved with the 993.

PS There's a very lovely looking white 1967 LHD SWB coupe in their stock list that would be a perfect companion to my turbo - if only I had any money of course

993

Hi Tim

They are keen to have the 993 for the chassis rail and minor paintwork, the 930 Turbo that was in looked in great condition.

Andy said it would be good to have a car in that they could turn around within two weeks, as some of the cars are full blown 6-9 month rebuilds !! From overseas too....

Just waiting for the magic numbers, Andy spotted some issues on my car that I wasn't aware of and very much wants to keep to originality.

Agreed. Apparently untouched and looks good in the grainy photos.

Maybe 6 numbers tonight would make it possible? :dont know:
