thats wrecked , i did that to a nissan by running too much boost
 
Did that happen whilst you were removing the tread from that tyre top RHS of the first picture :hand:
 
Car was running around 600 hp but this happened in neutral revving it !!!
Maybe revving it a little too much.

Why would you rev the knackers off an engine with no load ?
 
To be fair I reckon its what you did before revving the engine that has done the damage..

I'm not an engineer, but I would imagine if it "grenades" revving under no load the damage was done before . . . . . fuelling etc etc , is perhaps more critical than "some" realise, and I am hoping my "trust" in a "well trusted" modifier is repaid in not being the recipient of this "sideshow" (which I guess pleased the onlookers more than the revving, not that, that is much compensation :hand: )
