Prototypes of the 2015 Porsche 911 GT3 RS wearing Georgia plates have been caught on camera in United States.
The upcoming 991 generation GT3 RS has been spied numerous times but these are by far the best shots of the model as it was wearing minimal camouflage. The more aggressive body will include an extra air intake at the front, a huge rear wing at the back, side scoops, Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, yellow brake calipers, a central dual exhaust arrangement and a bubble roof.
Although both cars appear to be painted in black, most likely they have a body wrap as in one of the pics a prototype has the door open showing an orange hue which will likely be the launch color. Inside the cabin are a pair of body-hugging lightweight 918 Spyder seats with "GT3 RS" letter
ing on the headrests while behind them there's a massive roll cage.
Rumored to post a 7:20 'Ring time, the Porsche 911 GT3 RS is expected to come with an upgraded 3.8-litre six-cylinder naturally aspirated engine developing as much as 500 HP (368 kW). This hardcore variant and the 911 GT3 are believed to remain the only naturally aspirated versions in the 911 lineup as the rest of them will adopt turbocharging next year when the facelift is programmed to come out.
