I've had the car for 7 months and in that time, I've completed a mere 1,000 miles! I've simply been too precious about the thing and too scared to put any mileage on it in case of the value dropping due to the mileage. So it stood in the garage, being driven out on dry weekends and on special occasions. Originally, I bought the vehicle with 71,300 miles on it. The mileage currently stands at 72,300. This car is simply too good to be locked away in a garage s I've decided to sell and get into a high mileage Audi S6/S8 and not worry about depreciation.

Now onto the basics. Basalt black with black smooth leather. Six speed manual. The vehicle comes with a complete full service history from either Official Porsche Centres or recognised Porsche specialists. The last service was completed by OPC Wilmslow in February 2014. It is also sold with a full 12 month MOT. The MOT was completed on 16 October 2015 showing no advisories.

In my ownership, the vehicle has been fitted with a new set of Bridgestone N rated tyres, new pads and discs front and rear and also new front upper and lower suspension (coffin) arms. All of these parts have done a mere 1,000 miles. I have also added a Pioneer SPH-DA100 head unit which adds blutooth and handsfree connectivity to the BOSE audio system. The original PCM 1 unit and sat nav drive will also be included in the sale. Although it doesn't have PSE, it is fitted with a Dansk sports exhaust. All foour wheels have recently been refurbished and are unmarked. The original C4S centre caps are also included.

The one major benefit that this vehicle has over other 911's of the same age is that it has had a full engine rebuild by renowned Porsche specialists Hartech of Bolton. This was completed 7,000 miles ago and included new pistons, piston liners, upgraded IMS bearing and seal, upgraded low temp thermostat and other remedial work. The work, together with a subsequent run in service is documented by full invoices from Hartech.

I have had the car professionally detailed, details of which can be seen on this blog

Both the bodywork and interior are in excellent condition. As is shown in the following pictures:

I've got this up on Autotrader but have been faced with a lot of buyers who don't seem too serious. In light of this, the forum price is £NOW SOLD which I hope you will agree is fair for what is a C4S in good condition with a lot of remedial work already done.

Any interested parties can email me on andyvo @ hotmail.co.uk or Pm me on here.

Thanks for taking the time to read my post.

A C4S with a Hartech engine for under £16k.

Given the recent outpourings of desire on 911uk for this 'future classic' I'd expect you to get a lot of interest.

Don't I know it. It'll turn into the next 993 and prices will go stratospheric next Spring knowing my luck...

Very, very nice. Something like this could dissuade me away from my 996TT hunt.

You know it makes sense Plynchy! You could have this and at least £15k in the bank as well...

I've had a fair bit of interest from the ad. I've responded to all queries too so I don't envisage the car hanging around for long. As the advert says, I'm Manchester based and am free everyday until Saturday for viewings.

Makes a lot of sense, stuck offshore until Monday so will prorbably have gone. :D

Car now currently on hold for a serious buyer.

Thanks for your interest guys. If anything changes, I'll update the sales post.

Bah.

With a well presented advert, as with this car.

911uk is the place to sell your Porsche 911.

Forget Autotrader and the rest..... 8)

Save your tears Plynchy!

In this game, until the buyer drives off into the sunset in a gleaming Porker, there's a glimmer of hope the car could still be yours! :D

Wow that looks a fantastic car especially with the hartech work done!
Best looking 996 with strong engine to match
Sure you'll have no probs selling!

I can vouch for Plynchy being a serious buyer. Fingers crossed that he gets a helicopter back soon to get a chance at it.

Great car BTW. :thumb:

Cheers Steve, see what happens pal. :thumb:
