A good weight saving there, you looking to get out on track this year?
I still haven't decided whether to sell or not. Bought an E92 M3 M Performance Edition which has all the desirable options and is a great all rounder, but doesn't have the same 'thrill' of the GT3.
Decisions decisions!

Have you weighed your previous wheel & tyre combination vs the new? It's worth doing. My new wheels & tyres are 7kg lighter on the rear axle and 4kg on the front. Massive difference and you feel it straight away! _________________ 2007 997.1 GT3

chrikey that is a lot Roro.
I want to get them on some decent corner weight scale to see the real difference and then put up some pics. just by lifting it feels a lot lighter especially the rear wheels.
Stroller keep the GT3 I would say. far rarer than the M3 as they made loads of them and the GT3 is just more special. get a great cheap daily like the Golf R on a lease and keep the GT3 for special days.
not sure I will track it yet. depends if a good day comes up that I can actually make! _________________ 996 GT3 mk2 - Guards Red

Link doesnt work.
Plus warrenty can be applied upto 15 year old cars now even if theyve not had opc servicing or non-oem parts. _________________ I really must learn to spell check and proof read my posts

OZ wheels fitted today and lovely day down south. 24 degrees at one point.
really liking the wheels, a lot lighter than OEM and they really show the brakes off more for some reason.
OEMS cleaned, polished and stored away. _________________ 996 GT3 mk2 - Guards Red

Looking great in the sun! Did you get the paint code for rims or just get them 'colour matched'?
Definitely keep hold of the OEM wheels, they will get harder to get hold of in the future.
