Today when I. Started my car slot of smoke came from the exhaust car ran fine and smoke goes after about 10secs but when left to go cold has done it again . Oil level and coolant level both ok and oil on dipstick looks fine Wwwhas anyone any ideas as to why this has started. Thanks howie

If u started your car recently and then off again (like i did on thurs to move it forward a few metres to get to garage door) and shut it off, next time u start it - prepare for a smoke show!

Well on the turbo anyway - pretty normal and settle after about 2 mins .

Can be normal as described above. It was explained to me by a porsche specialist the other day.

I think majority of Porsche tend to smoke for few seconds on start up from time to time.

As above, if I just start mine to move it a few meters so it has no time to get any heat into it then the next time I start it some smoke will blow out the exhaust but the rest of the time is fine and never really burns any oil.

Think its pretty normal.
