Nothing new here for the longer term owners, but as a newbie to the 993 world I'm continually amazed how easy they are to work on. Undo a couple screws or bolts and you're away.

Nothing complicated so far (I'll leave the new lifters or engine mounts to the garage) but I can't imagine how I would have gone about the simplest task on my last car (A6 Quattro).
 
They are great, aren't they. Like to good old days of tinkering, and makes you more "at one" with your car.

Actually, engine mounts are easy too.
