Cash waiting for an excellent example with appropriate provenance. WHY? Thanks.
PS I am a reformed 997 owner now looking for something a bit older to cherish.

Why are you posting on here, why haven't you bought the C4 that's available at OPC Byfleet?

Sorry skyman I couldnt resist when I read 'excellent example with appropriate provenance' bit.It sounds like the sort of thing these newbe classic car dealers write to describe something they know feck all about. You know the ones? The 'Miles Fotheringay-Smythe' mob who get a bit of dosh from daddy and go and play at selling classic cars and ruin it for the guys who have done it for years.
Sorry mate.

That's ok. I am used to the vintage watch world where the lingo is pretty similar to that of classic cars. At the end of the day, I am looking for a loved 993 which is in turn looking for a new owner. Simple as that!

My MUCH LOVED 993 C2 could be up for sale.
Its done 125000 miles 60,000 of which have been thrashed round the Nurburgring and track days , it has sketchy service history ( although I have changed the oil every 3000 miles) and has stone chips all over it.
It runs as sweet as a nut and I love it.

But I bet you wouldn't want it! :thumb:

Good luck with your search.

Thanks, but it sounds as though you deserve eachother.

Fancy seeing you here!
Not such a small world. Serious interests are few and far between.

No need to check the font to see if it's a fake on here either...

I thought you wanted a 997 GTS or turbo?

Having looked at a couple of 993s recently, I am afraid I have got the bug. I am just coming out of a 997 C2S, so another 997 seems like a dull option.

The Carrera model inscription on the rear of the 993 can be faked I understand, so do check the font!

Just realised this is in the parts section! Schoolboy error. Sorry. :frustrated:
