So, here is my first Porsche.

I have driven bmw's and M-cars before and my original plan was to buy M6, but now since I had a pleasure to follow GT3cup race team, so I got somehow a little affected by Porsches.

I was searching many many months for convertible 997 with nice colour combination and low miles, but no success. Finally one morning I decided to open my mind also for coupe and that was love at the first sight!

Facts:

997 2s 11/2004, model year 2005.
37500 miles
gt3 aero kit
Upgraded sway bars.
Full options are below, but favourites are PASM, sports seats and leather dashboard.
Shame that it does not have sports chrono, I would have really liked that sports chrono watch :/

Plans for future with my 997:

-let master mechanic from the race team to go through the car
-paint rocker panels and bumpers
-maybe get some other wheels?
-do something for the window tintings?
-headers?
-do something for the exhaust?
-mapping?

We went last Saturday from Luton to Belgium by train to have a look at this car, without knowing how to come back without a car :D

I have sent all the documents to DVLA so hopefully in 10 days I will get UK license plates, so I get this beauty back on the road!
Would be nice to meet up with other Porsche owners around Luton.

All comments and advices are welcome!

Nice car :thumb:

Why did you decide to go for a left hooker. :?:

The one on the right already had her mouth full.

Hi amh

Nice looking car. I'm in Luton so I'll no doubt see you around. Look out for the Guards Red 997.

Thanks :)
I'm used to drive LHD :drive:

Still waiting for letter from DVLA to arrive so I can get license plates.
I've had some time to think about the wheels and I'm quite sure that I will go for BBS CH. Now I have those gen 2 turbo wheels.
I might be even open for a trade or selling mine.. :FYI:
In the picture I tried wheels from a different car and it was wrong ET for me anyway.

My 930 was a left hooker. I found it difficult to overtake on the twisty roads, without sticking half the car into oncoming traffic.

Nice... 8)

Mine is lowered...just to give you an idea, some pics, something for your list...

Oh, and get the chrome tail pipes...£165 delivered is a must imo

Did it work out cheaper then buying in the UK?

GT4 :floor: :floor: I though it was funny anyway.

I like the alloys I just think it needs spacers and lowering to get the stance correct , nice car though, someone has accidentally put the steering wheel on the wrong side though.

mind you it can be fun to stick your passengers out into the oncoming traffic, used to make me smile when I had yank muscle cars. :thumb:
