1989 Porsche 911 Turbo LE 350

This exceptional 911 Turbo is not only one of just fifty LE models, it is also one of only three UK cars to feature the 350 bhp engine upgrade. The car is in superb completely original condition having covered only 16,000 miles from new in the hands of three owners. It does of course come with a full history from new.

This rare car was first registered on the 20th June 1989 to Porsche Cars Great Britain, the first service being completed by Porsche at Reading at 1,845 miles on the 24th July 1989. In October 1989 the car was sold to Mr Martin Hughes, he retained the car until April 1992 during which time mileage increased to 6,800 miles. During his ownership the car was serviced in May 1991 at Porsche dealer Chariots of St Albans.

The second private owner, Mr Philip Milne of Newbury, purchased the car from AFN Porsche Reading, the original supplier on the 29th April 1992, part exchanging his older 911 Turbo in against it. Indeed this was the last of a long line of 911 Turbo's owned by Mr Milne. He obviously enjoyed this one as he retained it until July 2011 when we purchased it. During his ownership the car was only used on high days and holidays, this explaining the very low mileage covered, less than 9,000 miles in 19 years. Mr Milne serviced the car regularly as indicated by the fully stamped service book and copies of all invoices. He obviously looked after it well, rarely using it in the wet as the car remains in the most superb virtually unmarked original condition throughout - indeed it still smells like a new Porsche inside.

The car has recently been fully serviced by Dick Lovett Porsche and new tyres fitted. A very rare and truly exhilarating car to drive, a real icon from the 1980's and perhaps the pick of the 930 range. On a recent test drive the car appeared to be noticeably quicker than a standard 330 bhp Turbo LE. It comes with all books and tools, current and previous MOT certificates, all keys and service invoices.

Fundamentally correct.....only 3 ,350 bhp ex factory
Bigger Turbo, hotter cams , sports exhaust some headwork ................very similar to flatnose SE s mechanically

Sitting around on this low mileage wont have helped the head studs .........notoriously fragile simple, modestly priced fix .........so long as u do it b4 everything goes bang .........shud nt happen...... easy to hear it coming !

Is there any Web info on it? Something offerd in period by Porsche Exclusive too?

Also, I though Turbo SE Flatnose was 330bhp..? Up from 300bhp?
