As part of our 2012 Porsche Survey, "Who is the Greatest of the Modern Era?"

We asked you to vote for the Greatest 911 Turbo of the Modern Era....

Between the,
- 964 Turbo (1990-1993)
- 993 Turbo (1995-1998)
- 996 Turbo (2000-2005)
- 997 Turbo (2006-2012)



The results are now in!

The winner is the "997 Turbo (2006-2012)" with 39% of the vote. :thumb:

This survey clearly demonstrates 91% of the surveyed have no idea what they are talking about 8)

Not wanting to sound like a pedant but it would be nice to have this broken down by model/gen.. i.e. a gen 1 manual 997 turbo is a whole different beast to a gen 2 pdk..

I am surprised with the results here; I thought it would be a two-horse race between the 993 and the 964 easily, especially if you take into account the S versions and other variants of these models.

964 Turbo S less desirable than a 997 Turbo? :?:

I believe it could have been the majority of people who took part in the survey were already existing 997 owners who have not driven the earlier models, IMHO.
