My wife actually is extremely unhappy to say the least. She rang around for her car Insurance and finally went with you know who. I told her that they are an administrative nightmare which is why I cancelled my Insurance with them several years ago.
Anyway they asked her about her NCB and she said 'full' as she has not had any accidents in twenty odd years. They came up most competitive at some £200.. She got her NCB from her previous insurers which only showed seven years (that is as far back as they go) although she has not been with them for all that time. (What happened to four and five years as it used to be ????...... in the good old days :?: ). So AF charged an additional premium of £55 for the two year difference. Unbelievable.
Any idea on courses of action? I am penning a letter for her. They did not make it clear that theirs ran for nine years and I feel this is entrapment. She paid straight away on my card and they have cheekily taken the other £55 from my card.
