GAP Insurance?

Hi All,

I've got my new Turbo being delivered 1st week of Jan 2013 and I'm trying to sort out GAP Insurance. I'm still waiting on the OPC to get back to me with a price but looking independently i can get good value return to invoice cover but with a claim limit of up to £25k or some of the companies I've tried to get quotes from don't cover cars over £100K.

Can anybody suggest a good company where I could perhaps get better cover than £25k or even at the very least get cover of any sort for a car over £100k.

Thank you for the responses, is there a limit to the claim value ? As mentioned in my post the maximum cover is £25k for the policies I've found so far?
 
I've just purchased one from a dealer- pays out up to 50K
Based with MAPFRE assistance- I'd never heard of them prior :dont know: but they are the only one the dealer uses..

Thanks for the info Gary, I've got silverstone OPC on the case and I should have some numbers by Monday. 50k is more like it though, cheers( noticed you've got 997turbo sold on your footer, any thoughts on that's next?)
 
I had the certificate come through today- MAPFRE is part of ABRAXAS which I have heard of :thumb:
The 3 year policy was just under a grand but is done on a matrix basis, so could be cheaper on the Turbo..

I've just replaced the Turbo after six years of wonderful ownership with another Turbocharged car but a V8 this time... MP4-12C
Just don't tell Robin at Silverstone :wink:
