Best quote I've had on a full Riviera Blue (L39E) respray is £7k, at a Porsche Approved bodyshop. _________________ 2007 997.1 GT3

Get it wrapped. A mate wrapped his 996 GT2 in Riviera Blue, looked stunning with black GT2 decals, black wheels, carbon mirrors - also had a Tubi exhaust - probably one of the coolest cars I've seen on the roads
EDIT: just found this pic of it:

Ah... You forgot Nagaro blue. It was a special order but it did leave the factory that way...

That list is only Porsche officially offered colours.
I didn't forget Nogaro, because that is a PTS colour, not Special Order (ie not a OEM Porsche colour).
Nogaro is an Audi paint (AUDI LZ5M NOGAROBLAU PERLEFFEKT).
As PTS can be any shade (and you can name it yourself when you order it if it is genuinely novel, ie not used before), I haven't included the 16.7 million colours
All explained here (previously):

And I thought you were into detail...
Funny, when you talk to the OPC they say it's their signature colour with Audi. That said I agree with you.

I'm not opposed to wrapping, but the problem is the car has some minor stone chips here and there. This would need to be sorted before wrapping, but repairing the paint work + cost of wrapping would probably be over half the cost of a full respray.
I guess I'll just daydream about owning a Riviera blue GT3, and I'll buy a pair of these so whenever I go for a drive I'll think I'm driving a blue car:

why don't I send you a piece of cast vinyl - you can clean the car, stick a small patch over the stone chip, and see how it looks?
it'll come straight off once you've deliberated
wha ya think?
