Great look! Sunlight brings out the colours to their best. thumbsup My humble C2 is going in for surgery tomorrow following a minor accident 4 weeks ago in Sicily Sad . The work done on your car by professionals gives me hope that the repair job will get my P & J back to its former glory but with a spanking new front PU! Enjoy summer driving up north. You may have little sun in the UK but we have few roads to have fun on in Malta! Mad

Graham, you have to do it - bank and wife permitting of course Wink - but not with black centres!!

The temptation was too much - plus I got a deal at my local OPC so they were bought! I've considered getting the centres repainted 'titanium' but don't want to screw up the immaculate 'as new finish'. The concept in my mind was as per the original Fuchs on the 3.2 Carreras - I dont like colour coded centres and that was proved (expensively) when the original TT's were painted out. The car then has too much Blue!
With the hood up, the black wheels compliment the black roof. Having said that, it is a 'Summer Roof Down' sort of car!
If some 'Photoshop' expert can modify the pictures to show titanium centres, I might re-consider, but for now, I just enjoying the machine - in the sun, whilst it lasts!

Wheels - wheels - wheels.
Though my standard Turbo Twist wheels have been fully refurbished and look immaculate, I'd always lusted after the Fuchs type wheels, and looked at the Kersher type aftermarket; then Porsche went and released the latest 19" Fuchs as fitted on the Sport Classic.
I tried some other 19" OEM wheels but having seen the American GR 993 Speedster there was only one set of rims calling and and tempting me to spend yet more £ on my car. After some fettling and tweeks last week over at 9M, I collected my car yesterday morning and went to my local OPC where they had brought in a set of the new Fuchs wheels in for me to try!
Well, they fitted, no modifications, no arch rolling required, and no rub! This is also helped by, at my request, that the car isn't running too low (RS height - there or there about).
So now we have the latest incarnation!

Graham

omg excellent worship perfect inside and outside. can i make your car poster? i'm joking Very Happy

Thats the one. God dam i love those seats. Wonder if they would look any good in my turbo. It must be such a pleasure to just look at this car. I`ve never had the pleasure of owning a new car but imagine this is even better. New inside and out but with classic styling. Perfect thumbsup

I looked at this on Sunday at Harewood to be fair the pictures are great but don't do it justice, the build quality, detail and finish is superb and the wheels just the icing on the cake worship

Simply fantastic Graham Smile

Thanks ever so much for all the compliments - the car did have a few little issues that cropped up over the first month / 1000 miles, after the rebuild and so spent a couple of weeks over at 9M. Those bits are now sorted and now the car is really enjoyable to drive - especially in this weather (just hope this rain is a paasing phase!).

I'm really pleased with the new wheels - the ride quality hasn't been crippled, but I need to compare the speedo with the SatNav as I know the gearing will have been effected, but not sure to what degree?

Another little piccie!

Dozzer - you should have introduced yourself! I spoke to lots of people there who all seem to share my enthusiasm for the car.

The next outing will to be the Woodvale Rally at Southport on the 8 Aug - not been before, but this looks like a great show with a mix of cars & aircraft.

Cheers Graham

Graham, you may or may not know that speedos will almost never read the same as a Sat Nav device, but I guess you can see how much change it has made, if you already knew what the Sat Nav difference was to the Speedo.

See the Error section in Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Speedometer

Sorry about that Graham but it would have been easier getting an audience with the Queen as you were talking to a number of people at the time Floor

Graham, those wheels are perfect for your car.

I'm torn between BBS LMs and BBS E88s with gold centres.

Then again, if some enterprising company brings out an 18 inch Fuchs with NB offset, I might need to think again.

Looks great in Arena Red (hopefully with black leather). Not sure about the yellow calipers though?

That 9m93RS CS is going to be gorgeous!
