I genuinely think it is. The 997 C2S Gen I was slightly quicker in a straight line, not significantly though as both cars IMO were fairly similar in performance so mix with that and increase in BHP/Torque and PDK it will annihilate the R8 as shown. DR did a sprint review of the new 997S with PDK against the GTR and it won it that instance also. Mightily impressive if you ask me.
 
Amazing if that's the case. In my view that makes the R8 a really poor second choice to a PDK 911 consider it's an Audi and considering how much they cost. Still, since I own a PDK 911, I would say that I suppose :D
